Arlen RothArlen Roth has been teaching others to play the guitar since the 1980s--and he's still going strong today. This great player AND teacher can be heard playing a super wide array of music styles--including heavy metal, blues, jazz, lap steel and Dobro, to name a few. More importantly, Roth has been instrumental (pun very much intended) in bringing other great player's technique into the public awareness. CheapGuitarZine thanks him for producing educational DVDs on players like Vivian Campbell, Danny Gatton and Joe Pass, and for producing the Hot Licks  series, which helped me back in the 1980s when I was learning guitar.
